They have a few links to their Rezgo site where they are in the right place on their own site. I like that. As their own site says, it is rainy season so that they will re-open their Rezgo booking site in Spring.

For their inventory, they use custom forms that they ask to a primary but information seems to need per guest. Also, there is a time slot selection on a custom form that maybe should create another tour option rather than use the custom form. Well, I should let them know.

I took a look at their current site, and they offer package tours for trekking and walking and cultural tours, based in Cuzco, Peru. They use a simple form for bookings, but I don’t know if it is a request form or to complete a booking.

What they did with Rezgo so far is
1) Use one of Rezgo default templates.
2) Choose a manual payment method.
3) Use additional emails for booking notifications.
4) Add a tour and tour option. Set availability and pricing.

What they can do with Rezgo from here is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.

For their inventory, they have set up correctly so far. What they need to do is add available dates by using rules, for example, if the package tour departs every Monday, then they can specify days of week on rule and set availability on days.

Once all inventory is entered in the Rezgo system, they can just link to each Rezgo tour page from their tour. They can add a date search form, referring to this, if they like.

I took a look at their current site, and they offer cruises tours based in Plattenberg Bay, South Africa. They accept bookings by phone.

There are two accounts that they signed up, with no login.

What they can do with Rezgo is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Add all tours and tour options. Set availability and pricing.
3) Use rules to control availability date, if not daily.
4) Use custom forms for extra questions on booking, if necessary.
5) Link to each of Rezgo tour detail page from their tour description on their site.
6) Use offline bookings for bookings by phone or email.
7) Manage availability, bookings and associated payment status.

For their inventory, they could easily set up, because their cruise tours are day trip (not package tours) and scheduled tours. Add each of three tours as tour level, and add each departure time as tour option level. Set a date range seasonally or yearly by default.

Once they set up their inventory, just link to the Rezgo site. The easiest way is to add a Book button on their tour page and link to their Rezgo site. If they want, they can link to each Rezgo tour page from each tour title on their current site.

I took a look at their current site, and they offer boat tours based in Brazil. They accept bookings by phone or email, however the schedule only shows for 2009 and I don’t know if their tours are still available.  

What they did with Rezgo so far is

For their inventory, I need to ask them one question first. How many boats do they have? If they have only one and can go only one of tours at a time, then manual control on the availability would be cumbersome. Let’s assume they have more than three boats so that each of three itineraries does not need to block its availability. This case, you can add three itineraries as a tour level. Add each departure time as a tour option level, and set pricing per person. Max. number of passenger should be set as availability. That’s all.

I don’t know how many helicopters they have, but they somehow manage all tours and bookings. Usually, this type of companies will ask us if the system can prevent a booking based on their total passengers’ weight, or if the system can make a tour booked in full in case someone book with 2 (to prevent from riding with stranger), or if  the system can block the other tours if a tour is booked due to only one helicopter. (To clarify, all answers to these questions are currently no.)

Although they signed up for a Rezgo supplier account, I think a Rezgo vendor account might be suitable for them. How so? When I took a look at their current site, each tour shows a contact information for the tour provider. South African Tourism doesn’t own tours, but they list tours for tour companies.

If they had a Rezgo vendor account and were able to convince those tour companies to sign up for a Rezgo supplier account, it would drive online bookings, because it means each supplier sells their own tours on their Rezgo site as well as South Africa Tourism resells their tours on their Rezgo vendor site.

This primary supplier account is to group all their Rezgo supplier accounts for billing purpose, so that each Rezgo supplier account won’t get billed. No inventory, no bookings on this account. Usually, the first account becomes the primary, but in their case, they didn’t want any of the suppliers to access billing part in settings.
In addition to that, we created custom reports for concierge agent by using XML API, as requested. It allows each agent to access the report on their site and see how much bookings they sold.

They have Rezgo vendor accounts to resell their suppliers’ products. Each supplier account connected to each vendor via Rezgo Connect site.

BAM group manages their suppliers’ products as Inventory. Because all of their accounts use one payment gateway, the money is collected in one place when any of the accounts receive bookings. They also manage their vendor’s commission based on bookings.
