Analyzing Rezgo Products

Are you curious how Rezgo is used? I am!

Change of Greenery with Rezgo

Change of Greenery has been using Rezgo for a while. They offer bike tours and wine tasting bike tours based in Napa, California, USA.

How they’re using Rezgo is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Use a manual payment method.
3) Use Twitter name for social icon on tour details.
4) Add tours and tour options based in different tour.
5) Use different Copy emails for tours for booking notification.
6) Use image and video gallery for tours.
7) Use tour code for their internal code.
8 ) Use custom forms to ask questions, such as weight or time slot.
9) Add rules to set block dates, group pricing, and promo code.
10) Link to their Rezgo site from their own site.

They have a few links to their Rezgo site where they are in the right place on their own site. I like that. As their own site says, it is rainy season so that they will re-open their Rezgo booking site in Spring.

For their inventory, they use custom forms that they ask to a primary but information seems to need per guest. Also, there is a time slot selection on a custom form that maybe should create another tour option rather than use the custom form. Well, I should let them know.

Sun Gate Tours with Rezgo

Sun Gate Tours signed up for Rezgo a while ago and added some tour, but they haven’t used since.

I took a look at their current site, and they offer package tours for trekking and walking and cultural tours, based in Cuzco, Peru. They use a simple form for bookings, but I don’t know if it is a request form or to complete a booking.

What they did with Rezgo so far is
1) Use one of Rezgo default templates.
2) Choose a manual payment method.
3) Use additional emails for booking notifications.
4) Add a tour and tour option. Set availability and pricing.

What they can do with Rezgo from here is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Add all tours and tour options. Set availability and pricing.
3) Use custom forms for extra questions on booking, if necessary.
4) Use rules to set random departure dates for packages.
5) Link to each Rezgo tour detail page from their tour description page on their site.
6) Use offline bookings for bookings by phone or email.
7) Manage availability, bookings and associated payment status.

For their inventory, they have set up correctly so far. What they need to do is add available dates by using rules, for example, if the package tour departs every Monday, then they can specify days of week on rule and set availability on days.

Once all inventory is entered in the Rezgo system, they can just link to each Rezgo tour page from their tour. They can add a date search form, referring to this, if they like.

If you’re interested in using Rezgo again, we’d be happy to help you. We still keep your sub domains, so play around and let us know if you have any questions.

the Dolly Steamboat with Rezgo

The Dolly Steamboat has been using Rezgo for a while. They offer cruises with dinner or sightseeing based in Apache Jct, Arizona, USA.

How they’re using Rezgo is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Add multiple admins for the different access.
3) Use a payment gateway: Authorize.net as payment method.
4) Use additional emails for booking notifications.
5) Add tours and tour options based in different tour and time slot.
6) Use different Copy emails for tours for booking notification.
7) Use image gallery for tours.
8 ) Use custom forms to ask questions, such as special requirements for disabilities.
9) Add rules to set group pricing and promo code.
10) Use adjustment for availability.
11) Use POS to make offline bookings by phone etc.
12) Use API key to build their own parser using Rezgo WordPress plugin.

They have built their own parser using Rezgo WordPress plugin, and the site looks great.

For their inventory, they set custom forms to tour option level, however, the fields won’t show due to “hide party fields” set on tour level. I should point it out for them.

Ocean Safaris Plettenberg Bay with Rezgo

Ocean Safaris Plettenberg Bay signed up for Rezgo a while ago, but they haven’t used since.

I took a look at their current site, and they offer cruises tours based in Plattenberg Bay, South Africa. They accept bookings by phone.

There are two accounts that they signed up, with no login.

What they can do with Rezgo is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Add all tours and tour options. Set availability and pricing.
3) Use rules to control availability date, if not daily.
4) Use custom forms for extra questions on booking, if necessary.
5) Link to each of Rezgo tour detail page from their tour description on their site.
6) Use offline bookings for bookings by phone or email.
7) Manage availability, bookings and associated payment status.

For their inventory, they could easily set up, because their cruise tours are day trip (not package tours) and scheduled tours. Add each of three tours as tour level, and add each departure time as tour option level. Set a date range seasonally or yearly by default.

Once they set up their inventory, just link to the Rezgo site. The easiest way is to add a Book button on their tour page and link to their Rezgo site. If they want, they can link to each Rezgo tour page from each tour title on their current site.

Kitsap Tours with Rezgo

Kitsap Tours has been using Rezgo for a while. They offer sightseeing tours based in Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA.

How they’re using Rezgo is
1) Match the design (site layout) to their current site.
2) Use own domain to point to Rezgo.
3) Use a Google Analytics code to track site views and e-commerce tracking code (for sales tracking).
4) Use PayPal and a payment gateway: Authorize.net as payment methods.
5) Use Twitter name for social icon on tour details.
6) Enable importing Expedia emails in order to add those bookings as offline bookings into the Rezgo system.
7) Add tours and tour options based in different tour and time slot.
8 ) Use image and video gallery for tours.
9) Use custom forms to ask questions and option with fees.
10) Add rules to set block dates, group pricing, promo code, and shared availability.
11) Use adjustment for availability.
12) Use POS to make offline bookings by phone etc.
13) Use the Rezgo widget to display their tour list on their Facebook page.

They use almost all functionality! That’s great. They use their own domain to point to the Rezgo server so that the site transition to their Rezgo tour list page behaves smoothly.

For their inventory, they added gift certificate as a product. I’m interested in how they manage the availabilities on our daily basis inventory system.
